Sep17Thu2026 Allen Park – Downtown Block Parties @ Specific locations may vary Sep 17 @ 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Downtown Allen Park is turning Thursdays into the best nights of the week. Beginning May 2026, the Block Parties will light up the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month through October — a brand‑new event series packed with energy, creativity, and community spirit.
Each Block Party comes with its own unique theme, giving you a fresh experience every time you visit. One evening might lean into summer nostalgia, and later in the season you might find yourself in the middle of a fall‑harvest bash. No two nights will ever feel the same.
What You’ll Experience:
- Family‑friendly activities that make it easy to bring everyone along
- Curated vendors offering high‑quality goods, treats, and creative finds
- Live music tailored to each theme
- Great food from local restaurants and visiting food truck
Sep18Fri2026
The Allen Park Farmer’s Market will be moving to a new location this year. It will be on the old
movie theater site at Philomene and Park Avenue, just a few blocks north of the current site.
Stroll through stalls of seasonal fruits and vegetables and talk with the farmers who picked the produce that very morning.
The DDA market brings the farm right to Allen Park and to your tables by providing a selection of fresh fruits and veggies and much much more.
More information to come: https://www.romulusgov.com/207/Pumpkin-Festival
Our festival begins with the Parade of Lights, where everything is aglow, from bicycles to cement trucks. Thousands of people line Goddard Road to wait for the fun. Our street festival offers wonderful music, food, crafts, and games for all ages. Visit or enter our Classic Car Show, Craft and Vendor Show, or just relax and listen to music. Our Downtown Festival is a celebration of friends and family; a harvest celebration that generates an enthusiastic spirit and regenerates our sense of Community.
