- Country artists Chase Rice and Zach John King have already committed to play the festival, with more talent to be announced as we get closer to the event.
- Free fireworks will be held at dusk on Saturday, June 27.

Melvindale Parks and Recreation is looking for vendors and crafters to join our POTENTIAL 2026 Farmers Market, running from May to September on Mondays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. We’re excited to collaborate with you and welcome you to our Little City with a Big Heart! The market will take place at 3696 Oakwood, Melvindale, MI 48122. Green Trail Hike, Wednesday, July 1st, 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Join a ranger for a hike on our 2.25-mile Green Trail. We will be observing wildlife and plants of the old growth forest habitat.
Our Green Trail is designated old growth forest habitat. Come along on a hike to see the plants and animals that make up this beautiful place.
The rustic trail is a mix of hard-packed dirt, gravel, boardwalk. We’ll walk nice and slow, the hike will last 2.5 hours.
This event is free and open to all.
