The Ford Fireworks is one of the very best shows in America and this year it will be even better.
In addition to this world-class show, The Parade Company is once again holding Detroit’s summer kickoff that night, The Rooftop Party presented by Ford. This spectacular event, held on the Center Garage roof is our annual fundraiser which helps to put on this great show along the Detroit River.
Willow Metropark hosts its annual fireworks show.
Display will begin at dusk. Plan to arrive early for these popular fireworks events. This is a FREE event. Enjoy the park trails, playground, and live entertainment provided by the American Ages Band prior to the fireworks.
A Metro parks vehicle entry permit is required for these events. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today. If you have questions, please call 734-697-9181.
Experience the City’s annual Winterfest Day Celebration.
Tentatively, the parade kicks off from the Taylor Recreation Center at 5 p.m. Lots of music, food, and refreshments for sale in the Sheridan Open Air Pavilion in Heritage Park once the procession arrives. Holiday characters abound. Once Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive, the official tree-lighting will take place. Fireworks cap off the evening.
