Hike or Treat

Do you like costumes, candy, and nature? If you answered yes to any of those things, then join us at the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge for our Hike or Treat event! Our park rangers and volunteers will teach you about nocturnal animals and pass out candy to participants. Visitors are also encouraged to wear costumes during this event.

1. We will have multiple stations for this event. The approximate time to go through all the stations is 50 minutes.

2. You are responsible for bringing sunscreen, water, snacks, etc.

3. We encourage people to wear customs if they would like. Please make sure all costumes are family-friendly.

4 . Some candies passed out during this event may contain peanuts.
