ROMULUS

Van Born Warehouse
Located near the intersection of Van Born and Wayne Road, a sprawling warehouse complex has a rich and storied history dating back to the home to Stinson Aviation, a pioneering facility where aircraft were manufactured in the 1930s. It still bears the signatures of the workers who affectionately referred to themselves as the “Left Wing Gang,” a fascinating coincidence given that some of these same initials are still found among the current workforce. Tragedy struck when a wing detached from a plane, resulting in the loss of several lives. The complex was later expanded and occupied by Detroit Diesel, where a worker allegedly took his own life. Today, Ford Motor Company utilizes the complex as a warehouse, but the space is said to be inhabited by restless spirits. Workers have reported hearing disembodied voices and sounds of tools being used, as if the facility is still a hub of activity. Many have even claimed to have been addressed by name, only to turn and find no one there. Mysterious occurrences, including unexplained movements of carts and physical interactions with unseen entities, have left even the most skeptical individuals convinced that something paranormal is afoot. Visitors to the complex often remark that they have never experienced anything like it before.

Hilton Garden Inn
A paranormal presence is said to haunt the third floor corridor of the hotel, believed to be the spirit of a flight attendant who met a tragic end on the premises. Witnesses report strange occurrences, including the sudden opening of automatic doors and the sound of footsteps, despite the absence of any visible person.

TAYLOR

In the vicinity of Eureka Road, strange occurrences have been reported at night, including sightings of people dancing and the sound of singing carrying through the air. Additionally, a young woman in a long dress has been spotted roaming the parking lot of the nearby mall.

TRENTON

Riverside Osteopathic Hospital
This former hospital, which was recently razed in 2024, has a rich history dating back to the 1800s when it served as the residence of the Church Family. Its transformation into a hospital occurred in 1944, following its purchase by Henry Ford. The property is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young Church daughter, who suffered a devastating fall from a horse, prompting her father to euthanize the animal and bury it on the grounds. The girl’s distress over the incident led her to her bedroom, where she would sing and rock gently in a chair. Witnesses claim to have seen her apparition in the window, dressed in a white gown, still singing a haunting melody.
